AEA Zeus Self-Timing Muzzle Brake

Machined from 6061 billet aluminum, the AEA Zeus Muzzle Brake was designed to counteract the projectile firing forces both in the horizontal and vertical planes though the port geometry. The horizontal stabilizing side ports are slightly smaller than the vertical top ports because the rapid release of compressed air must make a vertical U-turn from the air tank into the barrel making the rifle want to hop in an upward motion. The slightly bigger top ports release more compressed air energy pushing the rifle back down and the stabilizing side ports keep the rifle from hopping side to side greatly improving post firing target acquisition.
